The membership and eligibility in the Illinois Jewelers Association is open to individuals representing firms or corporations within the jewelry industry. 

The IJA has three regular classifications
of membership:

Regular – A firm or individual representing a firm doing business as a retail jeweler. The store must have a retail location and must be in business for a minimum of one year.

Associate – A firm or individual representing a firm doing business as a jewelry manufacturer, jewelry wholesaler or specialty industry supplier.

Student -  An individual residing in Illinois who is enrolled in studies pertaining to the jewelry industry.

Regular membership in the IJA also includes membership in Jewelers of America (JA).

Those interested in membership should download an application below and submit the requested documentation.
Membership applications are reviewed by the IJA board at their quarterly meetings.
