The membership and eligibility in the Illinois Jewelers Association is open to individuals representing firms or corporations
within the jewelry industry.
The IJA has three regular classifications of membership:
Regular
A firm or individual representing a firm doing
business as a retail jeweler. The store must have a retail location and must be in business for a minimum of one year.
Associate
A firm or individual representing a firm
doing business as a jewelry manufacturer, jewelry wholesaler or specialty industry supplier.
Student
- An individual residing in Illinois who is
enrolled in studies pertaining to the jewelry industry. Regular membership in the IJA also
includes membership in Jewelers of America (JA).
